Dog treat recipes

Your dog gets one of my dog treat recipe winners... if they behave. Okay, even if they don't. I can't help it.

Why your dog eats grass

Usually it's just a tasty snack for them, not some behavioural indicator that they're ill. As long as you know the grass is not chemically sprayed and is not contaminated in some other way, it's okay.

Dog night vision?

Night Vision Squirrel - Dog Walk Happy

Dogs have better night vision than humans but they don't have real night vision. What they have is a back-of-the-eye feature called a tapetum ludidum (something we humans don't have) that reflects the little light that does reach their eyes. So their brain has more light information to process so they can "see" better for late-night squirrel chasing.
